The event will be held in Kovačica, at the 'Mihajlo Pupin' Grammar School Sports Hall located in Nikole Tesle Street. As part of this event, a specialty show for the Trumpeter pigeon group will be held, offering visitors a chance to see specific breeds and exhibits at the very beginning of the new exhibition season.

The 'Sombor 1871' Small Animal Breeders Society is organizing the State Small Animal Championship of the Republic of Serbia and the 49th International Poultry Fair, held from Thursday to Sunday, January 22–25, 2026. The manifestation, which also marks the 6th 'Prim. Dr. Zoran Parčetić Nona' Memorial, will take place in Sombor at the 'Ziper' Shopping Center located at Staparski put bb. The grand opening for visitors is scheduled for Friday, January 23, starting at 1:00 PM. This prestigious event, supported by numerous associations and local organizations, represents one of the most significant gatherings for breeders in the region at the start of the new calendar year.
